With over two decades of pioneering work in media, social impact, and charity, Sarah is a force of positive change.

As the founder of the award-winning charity, Made In Hackney, she developed a grassroots initiative into a game-changing organization with a profound impact at local, national, and global levels, directly impacting the lives of over half a million people by simultaneously tackling health inequalities, the climate crisis and community cohesion.

Her work has earned numerous accolades, including the prestigious Best Educator award from Sustain, recognition for Inclusion by the Faith & Belief Council, and a nomination for Founder Of The Year at the global Vegan Women's Summit. She sits on the advisory panel of The Freedom Food Alliance representing community & culture.

Her work and expertise have been featured in prominent media outlets, including The New York Times, The Observer, Evening Standard, Vogue, BBC Radio London, BBC World Service, Jamie Magazine, and Vegetarian Living. And received accolades from Hollywood actress Olivia Colman, chef campaigner Jamie Oliver, musician Paloma Faith, TV presenter and author Andi Oliver, and Planet Organic Founder Renee Elliott.

Sarah has an innate ability to build relationships, spot opportunities and build persuasive and inspiring cases to catalyze change. Whether crafting ambitious CSR strategies, inspiring boards, or refining proposals for effective fundraising - her unique perspective and practical approach, drawn from extensive experience in the corporate, media, food and charity sectors, gives her a strategic edge.

An inspiring public speaker (TedX alumni), Sarah understands the vitalness of empathy, hope and humour – along with the real world demands of running a successful organisation - to take people and collectives on journeys of change.

In her leisure time Sarah loves to surf, grow food (she is a qualified permaculture designer and Level 2 organic gardener), and go on adventures with her neurodiverse son.
